Deidre Samson

Deidre started her career at an advertising agency where her passion for creativity was ignited. She has extensive corporate marketing, innovation and futures experience having worked in private banking as well as the alcoholic beverage industry.

She has a BA degree majoring in communications and psychology, a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing and Futures Studies as well as a MPhil in Futures Studies. She is also a qualified Prince 2 practitioner. Her research report focused on “Structural resilience: The future of organisational structure in South Africa, 2030 and beyond”.  She used the Houston Foresight Framework as part of her report and integrated various Futures Methodologies to create scenarios and models that touched on future skills, work and the structural arrangements that organisations need to do to be successful in the future world of work.
